On May 5, 2015, the Federal Highway Administration signed the Environmental Assessment (EA) with Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) and Final Section 4(f) Evaluation. The location and design concept of the selected alternative was also accepted. The PD&E Study is therefore concluded, and the Department is utilizing the design build process to design and construct a new Pensacola Bay Bridge.
